🧠 The New Life Rule (NLR)
In Phantom State, life is fragile, and death reshapes the story. Treat every moment like it matters — because it does. The city remembers, even when you cannot.
❤️ Value Your LifeYour character is not a superhero — they are human, mortal, and vulnerable.
Fear death. React with self-preservation and caution when threatened.
If you are outnumbered, outgunned, or outplayed, your character should act accordingly — not recklessly.
Comply when held at gunpoint. Running or fighting in clear disadvantage is FailRP.
If you wouldn’t do it in real life, your character shouldn’t either.
💀 The New Life Rule (NLR)When death finds you — or when you choose to respawn at the hospital using ‘E’ — a new chapter begins, and the previous one is lost to time.
Once you respawn, your character forgets all details of how they died, who was involved, and what happened.
You cannot discuss your death IC unless the information is shared with you through roleplay (e.g., "I found your body" or "Here's what happened").
⏳ Post-Incapacitation RestrictionsAfter you’ve been downed (even if revived):
30-Minute Scene Return Rule: You may not return to the scene for at least 30 minutes — this includes looting, witnessing, or wandering.
60-Minute Revenge Rule: You may not take hostile action against the people who downed you for 60 minutes, and only if you have new IC justification.
RP Motivation Reset: You lose all in-character reasons for revenge or retaliation after death — unless re-informed or re-exposed through RP.
🚫 Post-Scene BehaviorIf the situation is over and you were downed:
You may not return to collect evidence, loot bodies, or "investigate" what happened.
Your character's focus should shift to recovery, fear, or caution — not vengeance or clean-up.
Death is not a setback — it's a shift in your story. Embrace the unknown.
