# 🔫 Combat & Killing Rules

1. In Phantom State, **violence has consequences**, and **death is never casual**. Whether you’re a hired gun or a cop caught in the crossfire, these rules govern how you take life — and what happens after.

   #### ☠️ Hitman Roleplay

   Assassination is not a game — it’s a **story-driven action** that must follow strict RP standards.

   * **Memory Required:** You **must have a legitimate reason and memory** of your target. This includes **direct interaction or solid RP connection**.

   * **No Cold Contracts:** You cannot accept a hit without some kind of personal or RP-rooted justification.

   * **No Drive-By Contracts:** **Vehicle-based hitman kills are prohibited.** You must step into the world — not hide behind a wheel.

   * **Target Confirmation Required:**

   * You must **confirm your target in-character** through verbal cues. For example:

   > "*Hey John!*" → If the person responds, you've confirmed identity.

   > No name = no kill.

   #### 🧟 Post-Downed Combat Rules

   If you are **downed and revived** during a gunfight (whether you're PD or a civilian):

   * **You may not return** to the ongoing shootout.
   * You are still allowed to **defend yourself** if someone actively comes for you **after** revival.
   * Rejoining the original scene without proper RP buildup is **powergaming**.

   #### ⚠️ RDM & VDM Are Forbidden

   These are **zero-tolerance violations** of the Prophecy.

   **💀 Random Deathmatch (RDM)**

   * Killing or severely injuring another player **without proper RP buildup or cause** is RDM.
   * You must have:
     * A **clear reason**

     * **Ongoing conflict** or history

     * **Verbal confirmation** of the target

   > No story? No shot.

   <br>

   **🚗 Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)**

   * Using a vehicle as a weapon with no RP justification is **strictly forbidden**.
     * You arrive on scene to someone shooting at you or your allies, You may attempt to strike and get cover, do not drive throughscene repeatedly for a vehicl kill
     * Someone pulls a gun on you while IN FRONT of your vehicle while it is ON, attempt to hit and flee
   * Accidental collisions can happen — but **intentional ramming, mowing down players, or vehicular ambushes** without setup is VDM.
   * Repeated ramming of civilian or police vehicles is prohibited.&#x20;
     * Criminals should not be repeatedly ramming police cars to disable them, as this is not realistic and doesn't provide healthy RP
     * Adversely, Police should always follow PIT timers before ramming, and vigilantly follow general SOP's

   Violence is part of the city’s pulse — but **only when it flows from RP, not chaos.**

   Killing should raise tension, deepen storylines, and push consequences — not end scenes.
