# ⚖️ General Rules

These are the **foundational truths** that govern entry into the Phantom State. All citizens, no matter their role or reputation, are bound by these tenets.

#### 🔟 Core Rules of the State

1. **🗝️ Age Requirement**

You must be **18 or older** to enter the mysterious city of Phantom State. This ensures a mature, immersive, and respectful roleplay environment.

2. **🎙️ Clear Communication**

A **working, clear microphone** is required. RP thrives on communication — mumbling, static, or silence ruins the magic.

3. **📛 Realistic Character Names**

Your name is your legend. Choose one that is **realistic**, immersive, and **TOS-compliant**. No troll names or lore-breaking identities. (IRL names)

4. **🎧 Push-to-Talk Required**

The city listens. All players must use **Push-to-Talk only** — **Voice Activation is not allowed** under any circumstance.

5. **🎭 Stay In Character (IC)**

The Phantom is always watching. You must **remain in-character at all times**. Do not break immersion or speak OOC (Out of Character) unless explicitly permitted.

6. **🚫 No Real-World Tragedy RP**

RP involving **suicide, terrorism, school shootings, or similar real-world traumas** is strictly prohibited. This is not the place.

7. **🧠 Voice Alone Isn't Enough**

Identification must rely on more than just a voice. Use **visuals, behavior, and context** when claiming recognition of a character.

8. **🚷 Respectful Roleplay Only**

**Sexual harassment, rape RP, ERP, or degrading speech such as but not limited to:** racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, bullying, etc.  will not be tolerated. Violators will be removed without hesitation.

9. **🪪 Personal Responsibility**

Your **account and characters are your responsibility**. Lost money, deleted characters, or misused slots are not admin concerns unless it's a verified server error.

10. **💰 No Asset Transfers**

Starting characters to **funnel money or assets** to another character is not allowed. **Each character must live their own story.**

11. **🔌 Disconnecting to Escape RP**

**F8-quitting, Alt-F4, pulling your plug, or rage quitting mid-scene** to avoid consequences is strictly prohibited.

* If you **crash**, **return immediately** and resume the scene.
* If you **can’t reconnect quickly**, post in Discord and notify the other party when able.

**Punishable Offenses:**

* F8 Quit
* Alt-F4
* Unplugging Router/PC
* “My game crashed” with no follow-up or crash log
